Great work, truly in the Miller style. I love his unique style, I've tried to replicate it, but I've only posted one piece, I have so much fun drawing that way that I don't want to post them!
You've done a great job of caturing the essence of Miller. The small bits of colour, and the white on black sharp lines that are uniquely his.
Well done, have to fave this!
It's definitely a challenge to switch your brain into seeing that way! It was a fun exercise. I really enjoyed putting this pic together. Planning was pretty tricky, especially remembering what was going to be solid black and where the characters were going to blend into each other. I'm happy with it, it was a labor of love! Sin City is such a fun subject!
Damn, this is just plain awesome!!! You seem to be able to replicate Frank Miller's art almost flawlessly (especially Marv, who is probably the hardest character to replicate well, IMO) and are well deserved of all the favs you have gotten (including one from me! ) Well done!!!
Thank you! It was a challenge, and I knew if I was going to try to do it, to do it right!
Marv was probably the character I worried about the most, I wanted people to be able to say that's Marv without any hesitation. He's got such a distinct look, it wouldn't be right to screw him up! Besides he might start looking for me if I did!

I've always admired the concept of Sin City, mostly cos the use of black/white colours and high, dark and dirty suspense just totally grabs me. Great work, Zemog! I totally adore how you inked this....!
Thank you VV! I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.
I remember when I first saw these stories and they just totally blew me away! It took me a while to even begin to understand how you would even begin to create images that way, it was so exciting! Frank Miller is such a cool, amazing, visionary when it comes to comic books, story and artwork! *bows down again before FM*
...and as I saw this jaw-dropping piece of artwork, hypnotizing me like stripper who really knows how to work her eyes on a every day bum who think she loves him, I knew it was only a matter of time before I fav this sin city artwork, like a sucker buying all the lotto tickets his paycheck can get him.
I was really sweating Marv, he's got such a disinct look to him. I wanted people to be able to tell it was him even if I didn't draw anything else or include the logo. Marv is Marv, I think I did him right!
Besides, you don't want that guy after you for any reason!
